This summer, Oxfordshire Freemason Tim Stiddard is taking on an extraordinary challenge by cycling 156 miles in just two days while visiting all 10 Masonic centres across the Province of Oxfordshire.
The ambitious ride is more than just a personal endurance test. Tim is cycling to raise vital funds for essential repair and restoration work at the historic Witney Masonic Hall, helping to preserve an important community building for future generations.
A Challenge Across Oxfordshire
Covering 156 miles over two days, Tim’s route will connect every Masonic centre in the province, showcasing the unity and community spirit that exists throughout Oxfordshire Freemasonry.
The challenge will demand stamina, determination, and plenty of resilience as he travels from centre to centre across the county. But for Tim, the cause is worth every mile.
His fundraising target is £5,000, with every donation going directly towards the repair and upkeep of Witney Masonic Hall.
Supporters can donate via his JustGiving page:

Supporting a Historic Hall
Located in the heart of Witney, the Witney Masonic Hall has long served as a meeting place for local Freemasons and the wider community. Over the years, the building has hosted social events, charitable activities, and community gatherings, making it an important part of the town’s heritage.
Like many older buildings, the hall now requires essential repair work to help preserve it for future generations and ensure it can continue serving the community for years to come.
Freemasonry and Community Spirit
Freemasonry has a strong tradition of charitable giving and community support, with lodges across Oxfordshire regularly raising funds for local causes and charities.
Tim’s ride is a fantastic example of that spirit in action, combining determination, community involvement, and fundraising for a worthwhile cause.
How You Can Help
Whether you are connected to Freemasonry, live locally, or simply want to support an incredible challenge, every donation will help Tim move closer to his £5,000 target.
