Masonic Charitable Foundation

We couldn’t be prouder of the incredible effort of the masonic community in fundraising and making a difference to so many – that’s what Freemasonry is all about!
Our mission is to be a force for good by providing support, care and services to Freemasons and their families in need, and supporting other charities to help the most disadvantaged in society

We Will Remember Them

“Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service – our core values. It was therefore an honour this morning to pay respect to over 100 Oxfordshire Freemasons who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.”

Prof. Stephen Tucker, Head of Oxfordshire Freemasons.

Oxfordshire Freemasons donate Blood Bike

In 2022, the Oxfordshire Masonic Charity, through the MCF matched funding scheme, partnered with the National Lottery Community Fund to purchase a new BMW R1250RT Blood Bike. This bike joins a fleet of 20 bikes serving Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire, each named in honour of notable women who have contributed significantly to medicine and medical advancement.

This newly funded bike is named after Teresa Lambe OBE, who, alongside Dame Sarah Gilbert and Catherine Green OBE, played a key role in developing the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine. Both Dame Sarah and Catherine also have bikes named in their honour within the fleet. Pictured next to this bike is Kamran Irani, Chairman of the Blood Bike Charity, along with the charity’s and National Lottery’s logos recognising their generous contributions.

Since its addition, the bike has responded to 160 urgent calls, delivering blood and vital products to hospitals in emergencies. Oxfordshire Freemasons can take pride in the positive impact their support continues to have on the community.
