Head of Oxfordshire Freemasons, Professor Stephen Tucker, formally handed over a commemorative wreath to Dave Shorten & Paul Lear, of the Oxonian Chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association (WSMBA). The presentation was made on behalf of all Oxfordshire Freemasons, ahead of a significant national event to honour fallen brethren and service members.
The wreath will be respectfully transported by members of the WSMBA to the Masonic Memorial Garden at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, where it will be laid during a major remembrance event scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, 1st November 2025.
This national gathering, arranged by the United Grand Lodge of England, is being hosted by the Metropolitan Grand Lodge Met Events Team, with the support and presence of numerous Heads of Provinces and other officers from across the country. The event will serve as a solemn occasion to honour the memory of Masons and others who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country and community.
The Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association, a recognised and respected group of Freemasons with a shared passion for motorcycling and charitable outreach, will play a key role in this remembrance event by delivering the wreaths from across the country.
